Customer Support Engineer
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company that is a growing maker of Semiconductor test equipment with IPO potential.
Responsibilities:
- Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment.
- Trains employees on safe and propper operation of systems.
- Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
- Establish working relationships and collaborate with customers as well as personnel.
- Schedule PM's (Preventative Maintenance) with tool owners.
- Utilize Enterprise Wizard tool for cases (service calls), escalations, and part orders.
Skills:
- Associates Degree or equilvalent military experience required.
- Bachelors Degree preferred in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the field of related field, software knowledge is a plus.
- Prior field and/or applications experience will receive strong consideration
- Experience with any of the following debug/characterization tools and/or methodologies a plus: Optics, Time-Resolved Emission, Photon Emission Microscopy, Thermal Emission, Infared Thermography, LSM, Focused Ion Beam, Electron Beam, and Vacuum Systems!
- Solid verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
- Desire to learn, impact development of new technologies and improve quality.
- Great inter-personnel skills
- Customer satisfaction (centric) orientation a must.
- A drive to create and add value.
- Must have ownership.
- Highly motivated and a self starter with desire to advance.
Additional Information:
- Travel up to 20%.
- Required 3 month training period in Fremont, California.
- International Travel. (Must have a valid passport or be able to get one)
